These are events of what I believe will happen the day after the election. Barack Obama has just lost. The media are all up in arms over the result and the loony left will throw their tantrum.
NBC
"Nightly News With Brian Williams" Brian Williams - "As many of you last night saw, probably somewhere else, Senator John McCain is now President-elect John McCain. He won by a wider margin than what we were expecting. The polls had him slightly higher than Barack Obama last week but Senator McCain's victory was by a wider margin than what the polls were suggesting. Hold on for a second, I need some tissue. Our Obamessiah has just gone down in defeat."
MSNBC
"Nobody's Watching With Keith Olbermann" Keith Olbermann - "This just goes to prove to me that I am smarter than everyone else in the world and even I don't know why I have a show. I knew this racist country would vote for that nazi McCain. I wished he had been tortured to death years ago. If that would have happened our country would be better off now, and I would be beaming about President-elect Barack Obama. As many of you know, I am in love with him. I don't care who knows. I want to be his mistress. You think I'm joking? I'm not. I want this man bad. Barack, call me. I'll comfort you. All of you viewers, I want you to email me with your thoughts."
CNN
"The Situation Room With Wolf Blitzer" Wolf Blitzer - "What do you make about the Bradley Effect in this election?
Donna Brazile- "Well it obviously happened in this case..."
Wolf Blitzer- "Excuse me, Donna. I just want to explain the Bradley Effect to our viewers. The Bradley Effect has to do with polls indicating non-white candidates being higher than what the election results show against white candidates."
Donna Brazile- "Right. As I was saying that this definitely happened in this election. Some poll numbers had McCain ahead and some had Obama ahead. The Newsweek poll had Obama up by eighteen points, but McCain had a pretty comfortable victory when you just look at the vote total and not the electoral votes."
NBC
Back to "Nightly News With Brian Williams" Brian Williams- "Barack, where did our love go? Wait, was that on air? Woops. Sorry about that. Okay we're back. Nevermind me ladies and gentlemen. Hope died last night and I'm just a bit sad. Anyway, what do you make of the Bradley Effect, Mr. Dean?"
Howard Dean- "This goes to show in this country a liar like McCain can win over our lord, saviour, and messiah, Barack Obama. Obama did everything right. He never made a clear stance. Had purposeful ambiguity. Worked very hard at that. We had our allies such as Moveon.org and the DailyKos hammer McCain hard calling him a 'nazi'... what else... and we still lost? This goes to show this country still has a problem with race."
Brian Williams- "Didn't Obama's position in being the democratic nominee show this country has overcome a lot with race?"
Howard Dean- "Your Obamessiah will not like you asking that question."
NY Times Front Page
"As our hope for change is lost, we must understand that we are not Europe. We aren't perfect in other words. Obama gave great speeches that inspired us without ever saying anything of substance, so what happened? The Bradley Effect, that's what. This racist country wasn't ready for a black President. There's no other way to look at it. Obama spoke well. He tried to take both sides of just about every issue. He took a stand, dammit! He was change! Doesn't America understand that?! Roooosebuuuud."
Foxnews
"Mr. Rove, do you think why Obama lost was because not many people knew who he was?"
Karl Rove- "Well what you said is partly correct. The country didn't get to know Barack Obama and it was scary that he even got this close when you look at it. He never took a strong stand on any issue besides Iraq, and he even went back and forth over that a bit. This country decided that they knew John McCain a lot better and trusted him more because of it."
MSNBC
Back to "Nobody's Watching With Keith Olbermann" Keith Olbermann- "One lousy, stinking email? That's all I get is one email? Who sent this gem? Oh, it's mom. It says 'son, you suck. I just flipped on for a second and I couldn't stand listening for too much longer. But since I'm your mother and you wanted us to email you I did. How are you son? It's okay you came out of the closet and confessed your love for Obama. He's a lovely man. Sure this is your life's choice? Not that there's anything wrong with that. Love, mom.' Gee, thanks mom. Hey, what are you doing with the lights? Somebody turn on the lights. We're doing a show here!"
Producer- "Not anymore we're not. We just got the ratings in for last night. Five people watched your show. We're all fired."
The truth is that John McCain will have won because Barack Obama shouldn't have even been in the position he's in. He has done nothing. His associations with Jeremiah Wright, that church, Father Pfleger, Tony Rezko, William Ayers, Bernardine Doehrn are highly suspect at best. All anyone will know about Barack Obama is that he was a good speaker when he spoke about nothing that really matters. When he spoke of actual issues he always stuck his foot in his mouth. Obama said at the Saddleback Forum on the issue of when a baby has rights said "that's above my paygrade." That's not a stance. Nuance is for coffee shop debates. There will be no Bradley Effect in this election. It will be a "We Didn't Trust Obama Effect". It's spoken everyday by even democrats who fawn over him that America doesn't yet know Barack Obama. He is one election day away from becoming our President. That's why he will lose. America gave him a chance to show himself. He just chose not to. Ambiguity will not become a President.
