THE USA: THE TRUE BRINGER OF THE NWO

For many who believe as I once did, that eventually when the one world government comes, that the US will be dragged into it somehow. That Europe through the EU will take advantage of a weak US President and take away our sovereignty with the New World Order. Because I’m a thinking man that never tries to explain out my own thoughts, but rather lets things explain themselves to me, I have found out that it will be the opposite. Does the EU want a one world government? You betcha. Will they drag our country to it? Absolutely not. We will be the ones authoring the need for the NWO. Barack Obama is the one sailing this ship toward financial collapse and ruin. Anyone that pays attention or is not kidding themselves know that Obama is doing this on purpose. For the skeptics out there that don’t believe this, let me lay it out for you:

1. One of the big factors for the economy being so abysmal is runaway spending done by Bush and the GOP from 2001-2006. This caused the dollar to drop drastically and our debt to grow to astounding heights. What is Obama’s solution? Spend even more and cause the dollar to plummet even more and our debt to grow to unimaginable heights. We’re talking to the point that we can NEVER pay off that debt. Anyone that says we can do it is kidding themselves.

2. The first stimulus package was passed because of an emergency. There was no time to waste on reading the 1000+ page bill authored by the Apollo Alliance, the head of which is co-founder of the domestic terrorist group Weather Underground Jeff Jones. We had to pass this back-ended spending package to save jobs. To this point, we have not spent half of that stimulus. Did most of the money go to jobs? No they didn’t. With congressional districts run by dems helping out, Obama cooked the books to show America that the stimulus bill saved jobs. Some districts don’t even exist, as was reported by the Obamasciple media. Now they are looking into passing within a month or so another stimulus bill that is more aimed at creating jobs. What was the first one for then?

3. Other nations have been begging us to stop spending and printing money or they will quit trading in US currency. What is our President doing? Proposing another $250+ billion stimulus bill and printing twice the money we are supposed to print. When other nations decide to finally wash their hands of the dollar, it will drop far below where it’s at today. If you think gold is high now, wait in another year.

4. The healthcare bills all increase the debt dramatically, and even many of our left-leaning politicians know it. The CBO knows it, that is why Obama has “met” with them. When we are in such debt, why pass the most expensive entitlement program in US history? Over one-sixth of our economy will be irreparably changed. Try taking away an entitlement program. It’s like pulling teeth from a lion spiked on an energy drink.

5. The cap and trade program Obama wishes would have already passed (damn pesky tea party people) would guarantee the total collapse of the overall economy. On every front the economy would crash here. Guess who knows this? Obama. Obama said that his cap and trade program “would necessarily cause energy prices to skyrocket…. and the energy companies would then pass that onto the consumer.”

As I said in my last blog, it’s not about spreading the wealth. It’s all about government control. Why would Obama want to increase the price so drastically of energy at a time like this? There are no other answers. Look at who Obama has surrounded himself with during his entire adult life. Marxists who want to diminish opposing views in order to achieve social justice. People who adore Che Guevera, Hugo Chavez, and Mao Tse Tung. Notice none of them talk of their love for George Washington or Thomas Jefferson. When your staffpersons are hanging posters of murderer Che Guevera, then you know something’s wrong. Czars and advisers have spoken publicly of their love for the worst this world has had to offer and yet most don’t even bat an eye. The left doesn’t bat an eye either because they don’t know about it or they’re okay with it. The right doesn’t because they’re thinking “what was anyone else expecting?”

The US through Obama will continue the spiralling debt as fast as we can to restart the system. In year’s past, when American socialist said this was the way to get it done, they didn’t count on taking the whole world down with us. In a global economy and our country being as rich as it is, this country will take down the whole world economy with us.I saw on Glen Beck last week where he put forth that the world will bail the US out, and that will bring about the New World Order. He’s close to being right. The problem with his prophecy is that they can’t bail us out. The whole world cannot bail us out because they are suffering too. How can they bail us out when our economy is in their bloodstream? They can’t. They will go right down with us. All that needs to happen is for those countries that the USA are in debt to to get to a point where they have absolutely no confidence in our ability to pay back the loans and basically make a margin call. Once they reach that point, the USA will be done. Once the USA is done, so is the rest of the world. That is happening right now. The USA is being lectured to on economic matters by a communist Chinese government. They are telling us to stop spending. We haven’t and we won’t. What happens next after such a world economic collapse is the whole world starts again. No more all-powerful individual nations to cause the world to collapse again. We must all be brought together for the good of the world to prevent future disaster. Since the EU is at the forefront of bringing in a one world government, they will be the ones to map out a plan and select a leader. Someone with charisma to lead the world. No, not Obama. The world will blame Obama for the collapse. It will be someone else. Then a new currency will come about. I am calling it the “Worldo”. The Worldo will be the new currency to trade from nation to nation, as well as domestic spending. As a result of the new currency, gold will drop to near record lows. The world will not need gold anymore. They will have the Worldo. That goes for any other way the nations of the world is trading in lieu of the dollar. It will not be needed anymore. Watch for those gold investments! Individual liberties would be all but gone. The governments already exercise too much power over their people. It would only increase after the coming collapse. Each nation that has a constitution will lose it. The world will have its constitution with no nation escaping its clutch. Bush and his incompetence; the GOP and their desire to pay back their donors; Obama and his radical agenda will be the ones to cause the New World Order to happen. Collapse is the only possible outcome. From the ashes of the collapse will rise the Phoenix known as the New World Order. I’m a realist, and I don’t see any way out of it.

GLOBAL WARMING AND THE GLOBAL GOVERNMENT *UPDATED*

I have written in the past at other websites about global warming and other political issues, but now I realize that politics isn’t my fight. Getting people prepared for the time to come and explaining God’s word without the entanglements of traditional and denominational teaching is my fight. The political fight will rage on without me. This post does entail global warming because of its agenda of being a global government. With the global government comes with loss of sovereignty. Loss of sovereignty comes with a loss of freedom. Loss of freedom comes with a loss of humanity. Loss of humanity comes with things that should never be heard or seen.

When I was young, scientists said we were either in or about to enter an ice age. As a matter of fact, many including Obama’s climate czar said by the mid 90’s the northern hemisphere would be mostly covered in ice. Since I’m not ancient, this happened not long ago. If memory serves me correctly, the ice age hysteria lingered until 1980. The reason for the cooler weather was lack of sunspot activity. In 1988, the UN came out saying there was global warming. Soon after that, man was to blame. Instead of scientists learning their lesson after the ice age fiasco, they screamed like Chicken Little again and proclaimed the Earth was melting. For anyone with a curious mind, one must be able to ask how can man cause the scientists to go from the talk of ice age to global warming within a decade? That’s impossible, isn’t it? How can our creation cause such a drastic turnaround within ten years? A question global warming hysterics either won’t ask, or don’t want you to ask.

The Earth was warming during the 80’s and 90’s, but the last few years the Earth has been cooling. Look it up. Don’t look at projections which are outdated. Look at actual stats. Heck, put your finger to the air and feel. It feels cooler than it was about ten years ago, doesn’t it? The last few years, it has gotten particularly cooler. The reason: lack of sunspot activity. During the Earth’s warming, we weren’t alone. Mars too was warming at about the same rate since the 70’s. There will be a link below to that story. If lack of sunspot activity was the cause for the cooling back in the 70’s and again now, and when our planet warmed along with another planet, couldn’t anyone with a rational thought conclude that it was an increase in sunspot activity that caused the warming?

What started off as an innocent but headline grabbing proclamation that the Earth was warming, governments saw it as a chance to grab more control over their people. In turn, they would give scientists grants to keep going along with the hysteria while ostricizing any dissenting voices. This is worldwide. Scientists are routinely ostricized, threatened, and even misquoted in studies if they dare go against the "man causing climate change" religion, as was shown in "The Great Global Warming Swindle" on Sundance. Yes, Sundance actually showed it. Here, Al Gore took up the cause while making a lot of money from it. When anyone actually challenges him, he dismisses them. He actually told a scientist that wanted to debate him that he can’t debate the science. Imagine that, Gore telling a scientist that he couldn’t debate the science. I guess you are right, Mr. Gore. You cannot debate the science with a scientist. He also has taken on a strategy of humiliating his opponents by insulting or trying to minimize the voice of regular people. He has called anyone that doesn’t believe in manmade climate change “a flat-earther”. He has complained to media that people who don’t believe in manmade climate change should not be given equal airtime. He has even told students to not listen to their parents when it comes to the talk of manmade climate change. Yes, he said that. Of course they changed the term “global warming” to “climate change” since it is getting cooler, but with the same agenda. It’s as if the Earth never changed temperatures before. According to any scientist, the Earth has gone through much more drastic changes in climate than what we’ve been going through lately. Were the Romans responsible for global warming by making metal for shields?

The whole reason for the government wanting climate change legislation is for power. Former czar Van Jones did a speech saying green jobs was a way to spread the wealth. You can find that on Youtube with no problem I’m sure. There is a link below to an audio clip of him saying this. Still, that is not the purpose for climate change legislation. Any program such as healthcare, bailouts, or green legislation is for the government to increase in power. Last year when Bush was still in office, Henry Paulson twisted the arms of banks that didn’t want to take government money in that TARP bill to take it. That is according to many bank officials themselves. The government wanted their fingers in that money. Obama has taken it a step further. Obama reluctantly let the banks pay back the TARP money but put a clause that if the government felt troubled by our financial institutions that the government would again take control over them to prevent a crisis. The government does not want to keep their hands out of that cookie jar. That is just one bill. What about cap and trade? Obama spoke about his cap and trade program where he said, and I quote “energy prices would NECESSARILY skyrocket… and the energy companies would then pass that onto the consumer.” I have a link below to this as well so you can see him saying it yourself. With our economy in utter shambles right now, why would he want to cause us to pay more over an unproven and contentious issue at best? Redistribution of wealth or the growing of government and world governments coming together? You make the call.

This is a history lesson for the future. Whenever governments try to “spread the wealth”, it is only a mantra that would cause the masses to flock to their cause. In no case ever in any other government in the world’s history was wealth ever spread. In every case in any other government in the world’s history the poor stayed poor and the rich stayed rich because the rich played ball with the government. They got behind the government’s quest for power so they kept their money. As a matter of fact, in every case the amount of poor people rose in those countries. Poverty grew in every case. The ONLY "intended" outcome was more government power. This is the true agenda behind this thing we call global warming. Don’t gloss over that word “global” either. Global government is where we are headed. Combatting climate change is the easiest way to bring this together.

It would seem that someone might point out that no socialist government eradicated poverty. Since the impoverished grew along with the government, the people had less power. A bigger government then becomes a fascist government eager to squash voices of dissent. You can’t question an overbearing government and get away with it. If you have your ear pointed the right way, you can hear that happening in our very own country right now. Actually, if you can't hear it you might want to listen to Lee Majors and get a hearing aid.

Man causing global warming is a scam, and it’s intent is not to spread the wealth. It is to make government bigger and stronger,  since there is no example of a government spreading the wealth in human history. It would be better if the government took the money of the rich and directly handed it to the poor. That’s still wrong, but that would be better than grabbing the money and making programs intent on wasting the money away since the waste goes in their pockets. That's right. Either they or the ones that back them get the money that is wasted. Where do you think the money goes? Your money. You’ve been had if you believed the government was truly trying to combat climate change. It can’t be done. Unless we blow up the Sun, we cannot combat climate change. It has happened in the Earth’s history over and over again. You’ve been had if you think the government had an innocent agenda. Power is a snowball rolling down a hill. It only gets bigger over time. And since it's "global" warming, the scam is also global.

What does the Bible teach? Global government and people being delivered to their deaths for their beliefs. It also does say that a vial will be poured upon the Sun which would make the Earth feel very warm. That will happen in the not too distant future. We have been cooling. We will soon be warming. Maybe then the government will convince enough people that something must be done to combat the warming. Even though nothing can be done, the governments of the world will not be able to squander that opportunity.

The Great Global Warming Swindle is on Youtube in 9 parts. The first part is in a link below. Very eyeopening.

60 MINUTES REVEALS OIL PRICE PERPETRATORS

Last night after watching one of the dullest football games in recorded history, I watched 60 Minutes because they had a story about what caused the surge in gas prices this past year. I'm sure most of us know that 60 Minutes can lean very far left, but from time to time they can do some great work. Last night was another great piece. With their thorough investigation they found that the biggest perpetrators of the gas price hike were banks and investment firms. The same crooks that President Bush gave the bailout to because of the lending crisis. These banks and firms purposely manipulated the future's markets on commodities, mainly with oil. As their study also showed, there wasn't a rise in demand, which anyone with common sense knew that wasn't the case. They also gave a pass to oil companies over the surge in gas prices. One analyst said the biggest oil company this past year turned out to be JP Morgan Chase because of their investment and manipulation on oil prices. Only reason why the oil companies made record profits were because they owned so much oil to begin with. It was the banks and firms that drove the price up. It wasn't the oil companies afterall.

In previous posts I said that the prices went up solely because of people investing nothing in the future's markets. I had no idea who was doing it though. I knew it had to be big considering oil went up so high so fast. On one day of trading, as was reported in that segment, a price for a barrel of crude went up $25 for absolutely no reason. That's some heavy manipulation.

What will Bill O'Reilly (who I'm a fan of) and those on the left say about this report? Who knows? This report was very rock solid and should be looked at by everyone. I thought why oil went down was because President Bush came out saying he was lifting the ban on offshore drilling. It turns out that was just a coincidence. I was wrong. See, I can admit it. The real reason why oil started going down is because these banks and firms were so broke they had to sell. Look at what has happened now that these banks and firms have gotten at least part of that bailout. Prices in oil and gas are going back up. Banks aren't using the money to lend. They're buying other banks and I guarantee oil. They're not lending, that's for sure. Now President Bush wants to give them the rest? Unbelievable! I want them to sink. They didn't care Americans were struggling to get to work. They didn't care they nearly drove the economy down the tubes just because of gas prices. We shouldn't care if they sink like a stone. The good news is we don't care. Americans by a good majority don't want these banks and firms getting the rest of that bailout, and didn't want them to get any of it in the first place. Nice how politicians listen, isn't it? I guarantee if they get the rest of the bailout, gas prices will go up even more. Then there will be another story to follow up this one on 60 Minutes a year from now. We shouldn't stand for this. I'm writing my congressman and senators telling them I don't want these crooks to get anymore money and want a full investigation on what they did with the first half of the bailout money. I urge you to do the same. To quote a famous line in a movie "I want you to go to the window, open it, stick your head out and yell: 'I'm as mad as hell, and I'm not going to take this anymore!'"

2009 - PREDICTIONS AND A LOOK AHEAD

2008 was a bad year from nearly all perspectives. The only improvement in 2008 is the situation in Iraq. President Bush and Donald Rumsfeld's stubborn refusal to put in more troops and change strategy postponed the potential success of Iraq off until 2008. If they would have admitted that things weren't going well, maybe they would have made that change. At least President Bush finally opened his eyes after republicans lost the 2006 midterm election and fired Rumsfeld. Rumsfeld would never have admitted the failure of his policy. Good riddance!

Economic hardships and international turmoil weighed on the minds of Americans this past election year. America blindly wanted change, just as they did in 2006. They didn't take in how unpopular the democratically-led congress was because their approval rating was nearly a third of Bush's. Be careful of what you wish for.

Will 2009 pick up where 2008 left off? Will things improve or will things get worse? Here are some of my predictions for 2009. For most I hope I am wrong, but we shall see. I foresee 2009 as a giant step downward. History will see 2008 merely as a transitional year, and a harbinger of the evil ahead.

Oil prices - Just because gas prices have come down in recent months, that doesn't mean they will stay there. As a matter of fact, there is nothing different between now and when gas prices went to $4 a gallon. We are still by far energy dependent. We elected a party that refuses to drill offshore while other countries are off our shores taking what could be ours. OPEC is still the oil producing mafia, and whatever they say goes. The only reason that oil prices went down was because President Bush said he was lifting restrictions to drill offshore. The very next day oil prices started to drop. People who invested nothing in the future's markets saw that they had a good run, but it was time to sell. A hefty profit they made as Americans struggled to get to work. President Obama promises to increase taxes on the oil companies. As many know, businesses do not pay taxes. They increase the price of their products and have us pay for their taxes. In order to actually drill offshore though, congress has to also lift their ban on offshore drilling. The election assured us that this will not happen. The pieces are in place for a return to a steep increase in oil prices. Tensions in the Middle East will also be an excuse for the rise in oil prices. 2009 will see a steady climb in prices by the end of the year.

Israel - Israel is using the time between administration changes to try to clean as much house as possible. They're not stupid. They know President Obama will try to cut their legs from under them should Israel be forced to respond to Iran, Syria, Hezbollah, and Hamas. How far it will go will depend on how poll numbers see the Kadima Party in the upcoming elections. If poll numbers show a favorability towards Benjamin Netanyahu and the Likud Party, then it will probably be a significant battle ahead. If poll numbers are in favor of the centrist Kadima Party, then they will only go as far as it takes to make sure they keep power. Recently, Netanyahu and the Likud Party are opening a bigger lead in polls over Livni and the Kadima. Elections will take place February 10th.

If Netanyahu wins, Israel will have a leader that will not back down from any threat in the region. He's a hawk, and rightfully so. Israel's enemies are not only on its doorstep in nearly every direction, but they have enemies within. Netanyahu will bring a new policy in dealing with Iran and Syria. Look to Israel sending a message to Iran through Syria. Keep an eye out on what happens to Damascus. Also keep an eye on Madrid sticking its nose where it doesn't belong. The rise of the EU will continue.

Russia and China - Both will grow in power. Technology and a smaller world has helped them in ways most can't imagine. Both countries are using countries who hated us for years, but in years past couldn't really do much to us with their hate. Now with technology being more advanced, we are forced to pay heavy attention to the countries we just saw as a nuisance before. That will open up both countries to push their agendas forward. President Obama and the Democratic Party in charge doesn't have the backbone it takes to confront them. We're already in Iraq and Afghanistan, much with Russia and China's help. They blocked us from putting forth a strong message to Saddam Hussein as they made money from the much too seldomly covered UN's "Oil For Food" scandal. What really helps China is that we are in so much debt to them. Americans realize the future Chinese threat, but administration after administration doesn't seem to. For this, we are destined to pay a price.

President Obama - The world will test him quickly, just as stated by VP Joe Biden. The enemies of the US saw our election of Obama as a blink. They will at least try to take advantage of our perceived weakness. I foresee trouble again in Iraq. Iran will be responsible, but will of course have Russia's permission. Iran cannot sneeze without Russia's permission. When the Soviet Union invaded Afghanistan, it was because they wanted to reach the southern shore of Asia. They didn't choose Iran because they're already allies, so they didn't need to. Biden's prediction will be accurate to a point, but I don't even think he realizes how much Obama will be tested and by how many fronts this test will come from. Maybe by the end of the year to quell the Iraqi uprising, Biden's idea of partitioning Iraq will come to fruition. In 2008, it seemed like the whole world couldn't stand us. In 2009, it will seem like the whole world has risen up against us.

Economy - There is no way out of it. We are headed for very troubled times. I won't blame the year ahead economically on President Obama, but I fear his administration will make things worse for the long run. More borrowing and higher spending is the opposite of what we should be doing. He's still sticking to the tax cuts idea, but won't say when he will get rid of Bush's tax cuts on the supposed wealthy. That's more borrowing from countries like China. That weakens more the American dollar, which again fell against other currencies around the world. President Bush and the republicans from years ago have handed a heavy baton to President Obama, because they lost all fiscal responsibility. The republicans wanted to keep their power so they showed the dems they can even outspend them with pork projects and increased spending. During a time of war, that was a recipe for disaster. Instead of dems showing they can be somewhat fiscally responsible, they're going to say to the republicans "you think you can outspend us? We're democrats. No one outspends us! Who are you kidding?!" That will drop the already weak dollar even more. Factories and businesses will continue to close. Unemployment will crash the economy. I'm sorry to say, I really don't see a way out of this. Even the great optimists must have a feeling in the pit of their stomachs of our nation's future economic outlook. 2008 was only a prognosticator. 2009 will be the fulfillment.

Global Warming - Finally people will see this as a fraud perpetrated by those with a vested economic interest and a thirst to be in the news. This will be the second straight year of cooling weather. As winter approaches at the end of 2009, cold temperatures will again foretell a cooler than average season. That will be three winters in a row with cold temperatures. People will line up in front of Al Gore's mansion, snowballs at the ready waiting for him to peek his alpaca wearing head from around the corner. Scientists will point to the cooling trend as being a drop in sunspot activity. Instead of saying this comes in cycles, they will again predict an ice age looming. They don't care if they get proven wrong again. They just love being in the news.

These are a few of my predictions for 2009. I'm pretty good with my predictions I must admit. These predictions if they come true will not provide me with any satisfaction. They're too dire with too great of consequences. I will enjoy the global warming hysteria crumbling though. I have a feeling that I'm not the only one among you that will have a big smile over this. 2010 will begin where 2009 left off, but in the middle months things will change. They will not change for the better. Perhaps it will look as such, but the seeds of evil will be planted by the end of 2010. Oh! And a happy new year to you! ; )

THREE REASONS TO BAILOUT AUTO INDUSTRY

1. Because we bailed out the bank/house lending industry. Just from a perspective of common sense, the autoworkers deserve more than bankers and corporate greedheads who get a HUGE amount of blame for the current economic catastrophe being bestowed upon the American people. To show how greedy these jackasses are, the money they are getting from the last bailout they're not even using for people who are seeking loans. That's what the intent was for. To keep the American people having the ability to get loans for college, cars, and homes. Instead these sick jerks are buying out smaller banks with the money. That's one of the crucial parts of their failure to begin with. They bought out other banks and their bad loans until they hit rock bottom. Now they're setting us up for even a bigger fall. One bank even bought out the local Horseshoe Casino boat in NW Indiana. That's money going to the right place. Many people don't get loans to keep the economy moving, but the bankers get to buy a casino. If the banker jerkoffs deserve a bailout, then the auto industry and the autoworkers definitely deserve one.

2. Even though there is a lot to blame with how the Big 3 have done business, such as when gas prices were starting to go up and the war on terror possibly making oil prices surge on their own without the help of people affecting the futures market, they decided to make bigger cars and trucks. Gee, that makes sense. They make cars with all of these extras that take up fuel such as seat warmers, thirty-five computers running every nook and cranny, six dvd players, as well as an IMAX and wonder why people are buying the more fuel efficient cars. I remember in the early 80's (yes I'm that old or I was paying attention at a very young age) that cars routinely were getting well over forty miles per gallon. Has technology gone backwards or has the auto industry decided it's more important to have a family room on four wheels? It's both. Technology hasn't gone backwards, but they haven't moved forward either. The Japanese automakers made barebones cars that were designed to do one thing... take people to their destination. What a novel concept! They were fuel efficient. They were crappy, but they were fuel efficient. Now they're still more fuel efficient and their quality surpasses the American auto industry's product.

Having said all of that, no one could foresee the screw-up that Bush and the republicans have managed to lay onto the American people. "Let's have two wars, cut taxes, and spend like we won a shopping spree at the mall!" Whether you want to say the war in Iraq was a mistake or not, it doesn't matter. I don't think it was, personally speaking. It was waged flawfully, if that's even a word. It did cost a lot of money no matter how you look at it. So Bush wanted to cut taxes on top of paying for that war. Fine. Cut taxes. Nothing wrong with people keeping more of their own money in my opinion. The killer though was the spending. The republicans out-demmed the democrats when it came to spending. The republicans took the dems to school in showing how much money they could spend. Bush being incompetent said "sure I'll okay it all. You need it to keep yourselves elected." Because of that we had to borrow money from our friends Saudi Arabia and China among others. Then the dollar dropped. The pride and joy of America's capitalistic strength, the dollar, was shooting downward so fast I thought it was going to even up with the peso. It's nearly the same value as the Canadian dollar. Disgraceful. The British pound and the euro outvalue the dollar by leaps and bounds because the republicans screwed up so badly. That was bound to affect the American people's buying power, and the auto industry was hit very hard because of it. Cars aren't cheap. Bush and the republicans who forgot their Contract With America are the ones who draw most of my ire since they were supposed to be the party of fiscal responsibility. HA!

3. The auto industry is the backbone of our economy. There are more than three million workers that work for the Big 3. Failure doesn't mean that they all lose their jobs, but many will be lost no doubt. Pensions could be wiped out for retirees. People who've worked their entire lives putting cars on the road and being the pride and joy of the American work force. People who deserve better than that. My grandfather worked for LTV Steel for much of his life. They filed for bankruptcy and he didn't see another dime from his retirement pension. My grandfather served in two wars including WWII and this is how the American government treated him. They let LTV forsake their responsibilities to people who made them money. The big wigs wound up making out big time from the bankrupt company by taking home millions, but again it's the American worker that got screwed. We're better than that, aren't we? What are we going to do with retired workers who all of the sudden have very little or nothing? They still have to eat. They still need their medication. They still have lives to live. Are you going to tell a seventy-five year old to get a part-time job so he can make ends meet? I didn't think so.

So whether there are some concessions the UAW have to make or the Big 3 execs have to make, we will see. Maybe to help out, the American goverment might want to...  oh, I don't know... lower their damn taxes! How about that? Maybe if they weren't paying so much in taxes they could afford to do more. Hire more. People look to the Japanese auto industry that have factories in America and see how profitable they are, but at the same time their workers aren't earning as much money. I don't think that's right either. The execs make more than the President of the United States makes. Why are they able to make that much money while the industry is strapped for cash? Maybe that should be a concession. That should definitely be a stipulation for a bailout. I was against the lending bailout in principle because they were the ones who got us in this mess on their own. The government might have helped in forcing them to give bad loans, but the were all too eager to do so because they were making money. That is until recently. The government gave them their bailout but didn't give stipulations. They just said "here". They didn't tell banks not to buy other banks, which they should have. They should have told the banks that this is for giving loans. That's what they told the American people when trying to sell this. The American people weren't fooled and were proven right. The difference here is that this directly affects millions of people in an immediate fashion. The auto industry affects so many other industries, including the steel industry. Another backbone of the American economy potentially collapsing. Where do the bailouts end? I don't know. I do know if Bush and the republicans would have kept their spending down, then this wouldn't have happened to the auto industry. It would have happened to the lending industry no doubt. But the auto industry would have been fine. They shouldn't have to pay for incompetent politicians.
